Other than the ability to design and manufacture superior automobiles, Ford has got all sorts of ambition. With that, it’s looking to plant seeds the world over. Forbes reports that Ford is “launching sales of its Lincoln brand in China at the end of October.”
It first began when Lincoln was restructured after the recession. Then, Lincoln first changed its official name from Lincoln to the Lincoln Motor Company. Then it released an exciting new crossover, the Lincoln MKC. It hired the Oscar Award-winning actor Matthew McConaughey to help promote the new MKC. According to Forbes, “The China launch is the latest step in Lincoln’s latest makeover.”
When you look at their more specific goals, it’s clear that Ford is very confident in the brand as Lincoln Launches in China. From 2013 to 2020, Ford would like to triple Lincoln sales across the globe. They’d be going from 100,000 units in 2013 to 300,000 units in 2020.
