Next summer, Lincoln Motor Company will be releasing the all-new 2015 Lincoln MKC. The MKC is a luxury small crossover with seating for five. Ford recently revealed pricing information and we couldn’t be more pleased. The MKC will have a starting price of $33,995, including destination.
This price puts the MKC in a great position to compete against its rivals, including the Audi Q5, Mercedes-Benz GLK, and BMW X3, which tops out the segment with a starting price of $38,850. The closest competitor in price is the Acura RDX with a starting price of $35,415.
Obviously with the MKC priced more than a thousand dollars less, it will be in a great position to take hold in the highly competitive luxury crossover segment. The MKC will be available in three trims when it goes on sale next summer: Premiere, Select, and Reserve.
“As the newest entrant in small premium utility, which is the fastest-growing luxury segment, we have to offer our clients a fresh and compelling proposition,” said Matt VanDyke, Director, Global Lincoln, in a press release.
