Thanksgiving is a time for celebrating what we have with our loved ones but, come the next day, all bets are off. Black Friday is one of the busiest shopping days of the year thanks to its immense popularity and massive discounts. Taking on the crowds won’t be easy but if you plan to go shopping on Black Friday, there are some things you need to know. Here are a couple of helpful tips for Black Friday shopping from us here at Lincoln of Troy.
- Prepare – For the love of all that is good, prepare for crowds and know exactly what items you want. Do so by reading ads ahead of time. Compare prices and make a list organized by store and the deals they’re having on Black Friday.
- Dress Accordingly – Wear comfortable clothes that you can move quickly in because once a deal is gone, it’s usually gone for good. While a suit of armor might seem like a good choice to protect against crowds, it won’t do you much good if you can’t get to the items you want.
- Budget – Black Friday may be full of deals but that won’t do you any good if you spend more than you can afford. Budget accordingly and know when to walk away.
