Lincoln’s New Year with McConaughey

Academy award winner, Matthew McConaughey, is partnering with Lincoln once again for the arrival of the new year.  Two new commercials featuring Matthew will be revealed January 1st during college football.  This past summer, the 2015 Lincoln MKC was put on the map with it’s stunning new design and  McConaughey’s unique acting style.  For 2015, Lincoln hopes to do the same with the 2015 Lincoln MKZ and the 2015 Lincoln MKZ hybrid. A buzz has been created through Lincoln’s different approach to advertising, which has been met with both negative and positive reviews.  Regardless of the feedback, Lincoln has experienced a 15% sales gain in 2014.  This is impressive when considering…

Aluminum Body in the Future for Lincoln Navigator

Although we are still early in the model year of 2015, here at Lincoln of Troy, we are already looking into the future of Lincoln automobiles. Specifically, we’re looking forward to 2017, when the Lincoln Navigator is likely to get a redesign to include an aluminum body. The current model of the Navigator was released in the 2007 model year, so it would seem it’s time for an update. The change in platform will be similar to the Ford F-150, who recently lost 700 pounds by switching to an aluminum body. Although we don’t know much yet about design and styling, we do know that Lincoln has always led the…

Lincoln is really betting big on its all-new compact crossover, the 2015 Lincoln MKC. Lincoln is also pouring money and manpower into the Louisville Assembly Plant, where the MKC will be built. The Lincoln Motor Company has pumped $129 million into the plant and also hired 300 new employees to support MKC production. The new crossover is the second of four all-new Lincoln models, all of which will be on the street by 2016. “Lincoln MKC is an important part of Lincoln as…

A 2.3-liter EcoBoost engine is also available. While it ups the power to 285 hp and 305 lb.-ft. of torque, the engine’s fuel efficiency decreases only slightly to…

Lincoln MKC Design Influenced by Music

The Lincoln MKZ has been influenced by more than just standard design, its style isn’t just a look or a visual, it’s the feeling the car induces that makes it special. Reflecting on the MKC Luxury Experience at Mandarin Oriental Atlanta Hotel

The all-new 2015 Lincoln MKC was at the center of discussion and attention last Thursday at a meet-and-greet that involved both The Lincoln Motor Company and Mandarin Oriental Atlanta Hotel. Lincoln and Mandarin Oriental Atlanta explored its shared similarities, such as how Lincoln caters to its client with the same kind of customer service as the one expected at the hotel’s luxury spa. Both believe the luxury experience extends beyond the product being purchased—that it should also envelop the entire buying process and strive to be as personalized as possible to truly resonate with the customer. The event was part of the automaker’s “Lincoln MKC: Engage Your Senses” tour that…
