Lincoln is currently preparing for its big entrance into the Chinese new auto marketplace later this year; they’ll be breaking into the market with both the MKZ sedan and the all-new MKC, Lincoln’s sporty new luxury small utility vehicle. The MKC, with its unique but quintessentially Lincoln shape and design, is a perfect vehicle for international drivers. Plus, with its all EcoBoost engine lineup, including an all-new 2.3L option, the MKC will be sure to please loyal American Lincoln customers as well.
The MKC will be hitting showrooms like ours here at Lincoln of Troy this very month, sporting the lowest starting price of any vehicle in its segment. It comes standard with a 2.0L four-cylinder EcoBoost turbocharged engine, which churns out 240 horsepower and 270 lb-ft of torque. Equipped with front-wheel-drive, that engine achieves fuel ratings of 29 mpg highway and 20 mpg city. But the MKC also offers the all-new 2.3L EcoBoost with 285 horsepower and 305 lb-ft of torque, giving the MKC the most horsepower per liter of any small utility vehicle in the luxury class.
“It was important the performance of the Lincoln MKC delivered the on-road sportiness expressed the vehicle’s interior design,” John Jraiche, chief engineer of the Lincoln MKC, said. “The all-new 2.3L EcoBoost certainly achieves that and more.”
The Lincoln MKC’s great look and style is a direct result of its being the first vehicle designed completely in the Lincoln Design Studio. The vehicle has beautiful, aerodynamic lines and offers great luxurious features like the Vista Roof and Deepsoft leather-trimmed seats, and like we said earlier, it’s hitting dealerships this month, so come see us very soon!
