It’s safe to say the Lincoln Motor Company is a fan of the moving picture. Not only has Oscar-winning actor Matthew McConaughey lent his chops to promoting Lincoln’s new lineup, the automaker has once again teamed up with Vimeo to promote up-and-coming filmmakers with Lincoln’s “In The Moment” films.
The campaign is called “In the Moment.” This concept acts as a theme, giving the three filmmakers an opportunity to “tell us how they embrace the present.”
One film in particular is called Bloom. It is directed by Khalid Mohtaseb, who is based out of New York City. The story focuses on a young Argentinian woman who has just arrived in the West Coast mountain town in the US. After realizing that her luggage has been mixed up someone else’s, “She embarks on an unexpected journey with a stranger.”
When we at Lincoln of Troy watched Bloom, we didn’t find it hard to see why it caught Lincoln’s attention. The short aligns with the philosophy of Lincoln’s “In The Moment” films: “find your moment, and live in it.”
