The Lincoln Motor Company continues to find unique and effective ways to market the resurgent brand and its excellent line of products. On the heels of the brand’s announcement as the signature sponsor of the Tribeca Film Festival comes this next project—a collaboration with Food Network Canada that ties the craftsmanship of cooking and car manufacturing together into an aesthetically-pleasing and appetizing bow.
The marketing campaign takes the form of six different webisodes, each of which features a famous Canadian chef. The chefs recount one of their favorite aspects of cooking, which are then related to the sleek and stylish features of the 2014 Lincoln MKZ. The webisodes are directed by Shaw Media’s Marketing Ventures; Shaw Media also owns Food Network Canada.
“The understated elegance of these spots highlight what makes both the celebrity chefs and the new 2014 Lincoln MKZ stand apart in the luxury categories of cooking and cars,” said Errol Da-Ré, Senior Vice President of sales for Shaw Media. “This unique partnership will give viewers a rare glimpse into the personal connection these chefs have to both food and the Lincoln vehicle.”
