Official pictures and technical specs for the all-new 2016 Lincoln MKX hit the web last week, just days before its reveal at the North American International Auto Show. It gave everyone a peak at the new vehicle, whether or not they made it to Detroit.
The 2016 MKX is slightly smaller than expected, emulating the smaller MKC, though Lincoln says the new MKX is actually inspired by the design of airplanes. That concept is definitely evident in the rounded, aerodynamic appearance of the car.
Most of these 2016 Lincoln MKX images are on the official website, which launched recently. You can check it out here.
The MKX gets its power from a twin-turbocharged 2.7-liter EcoBoost V6, giving it more than 300 horsepower. This six-speed automatic also has four-wheel drive, and there will be three adaptive steering modes available: normal, comfort, and sport.
