Lincoln Gives Us the Skinny on the 2015 MKC’s Power and Fuel Economy

2015 Lincoln MKC ups its power and fuel economyWe recently received a bevy of Lincoln’s all-new MKC SUVs here at Lincoln of Troy and now we have the performance numbers to go with them. From first glance, the MKC gives an impressive showing. Add the vehicle’s power and fuel economy ratings to the mix, and things only get better.

The 2015 MKC comes standard with a 2.0-liter EcoBoost® engine offering 240 horsepower and 270 pounds per feet of torque. With front-wheel drive, fuel economy is rated at 23 mpg combined.

A 2.3-liter EcoBoost engine is also available. While it ups the power to 285 hp and 305 lb.-ft. of torque, the engine’s fuel efficiency decreases only slightly to 21 mpg combined, pitting it squarely against luxury competitors.

Designed with performance in mind, the MKC delivers just that at the lowest starting price in the luxury class, $33,995.

As Lincoln makes its second statement about the brand’s value in the auto industry – the MKZ was the first – now is a great time to stop by Lincoln of Troy and see what we have to offer.

“The Lincoln MKC was designed to capture the attention of a worldwide audience,” said Matt Van Dyke, director for Global Lincoln. “Spirited, stylish and smart, it truly is one of the most exciting new products from Lincoln in years.”

And two more all-new models will be on their way before the end of 2016.
