If the 2013 Lincoln MKZ hadn’t convinced you completely that the luxury brand had taken a new and quite spectacular direction, then its newly-announced model will likely do the trick. The all-new 2015 Lincoln MKC, which the company aims to sell to customers interested in a small premium utility vehicle, is unlike any other in the segment, thanks to the unmatched sense of grace and refinement it conveys.
On the outside, the recognizable Lincoln designs are bolstered by the car’s sleek, athletic body. On the inside, customers will be pleased to find an open, inviting space that is complete with all of the lavish amenities one could possibly desire—high-quality, soft-touch leather, tasteful aesthetics, seamless dashboard integration, and even a completely redesigned steering wheel.
As always in Lincoln vehicles, safety features are also plentiful. These include a Lane-Keeping System that uses rearview mirror-mounted cameras to help drivers from straying from their lane, a Blind Spot Information System that monitors the MKC’s blind spots with radar sensors, and park assist technologies.
Under the hood, you’ll find the award-winning 2.0-liter EcoBoost four-cylinder turbocharged engine that delivers a substantial 240 horsepower and 270 pound-feet of torque. For the performance enthusiasts, a 2.3-liter EcoBoost engine is available that offers an additional 35 horsepower and 30 torque.
The 2015 Lincoln MKC will be available at Lincoln of Troy starting next summer. For more information, keep it locked in to our blog as the MKC’s release date looms!
